But whatever brought you here today I can help support you as an individual or as a team to continue your development.


I am a trained personal and professional leadership coach with experience in coaching:

I also have 25+ years of experience in working with and leading Professional Services organisations across multiple business sectors. With this experience and understanding I am able to support businesses in:

  • Advising existing and working with mature PS teams and leadership

A leadership coach, sometimes also referred to as an executive coach, is a trained professional, that seeks to improve the way that you or your business operates. To improve how the company performs, it focuses on the leadership decisions, morale and abilities.

FREE INTRO SESSION

Working with a coach or a coach working with a coachee can be a very personal experience and both parties need to feel comfortable with each other.

To ensure that we can create the most relaxed and comfortable environment as possible it’s important that we take a free session to talk about what you are hoping to get from coaching, how the direction of these conversations can best support you, and of course the simple fact of do we feel happy with each other in that environment.

This session normally lasts up to an hour and following that you have the opportunity to go away and consider how that time went and if you would like to proceed in working with me and also for me to be sure working with you is the right thing too.

STRUCTURED COACHING

A coach is usually a professional from outside of your organisation. That way, you don’t have to worry about internal conflicts or favouritism. A coach is an expert in the methods of ensuring the experience is professional and maintains your company’s values and integrity.

A leadership coach is an excellent source of information and they are trained in managing the difficult discussions.

If you’re considering enlisting the help of a leadership coach, remember that it won’t be a magical one-size-fits-all solution to your problems. It will require effort and dedication to improve your leadership capacity. That’s because a coach doesn’t do the work for you. They show you where to look for issues and increase your awareness to discover more about yourself or your business, and recognise how to put the identified skills to best use.

Simply put, leadership coaching consists of ongoing, one-on-one conversations between a coach and an individual. During these conversations, a coach advises the individual on the skills and strategies required to be a more effective leader and/or to achieve certain professional and/or organisational goals.

Moving from a Quota-bearing position to a Management role can be daunting.  If you really think about it, you’re starting anew, with very little experience that will greatly impact the lives of others, and the pressure was something I felt straight away.  For the start of my journey I was more than a little worried about my performance, and Jason was recommended as a mentor to help me given his years of experience and track history of managerial success.


The actual process of being coached could be quite invasive and worrisome – the whole point is to be totally honest with yourself and your shortcomings, and bare those to someone in the hope they understand.  As a human being, it filled me with trepidation – but Jason was warm, welcoming and totally understanding from our very first meeting.  As a salesperson it’s probably in my DNA to foster relationships fast – but not always meaningful ones.  Jason however set me at such ease and asked just the right questions to really encourage my introspection, and help me get the most out of the sessions we had.


Despite the differences in the roles we have, the key aspect of management was the universal language we spoke. I’ve not spoken to anyone in my time as a manager who has shared my views so closely around the responsibility to others that we have. I could tell from the very start that Jason really held that responsibility in high regard, and as such I found it easy to both trust and open up to him through our journey.


One particular session resonates with me every day both in work and at home.  It is OK to be proud of things that I achieve. Not everything is positive because of somebody else, some change is in effect because of the things that I have done, and management is a great way to get the best out of other people if done in the right way.  Jason saw this very early in our sessions as a weakness of mine, and identifying it gave me the chance to embrace my own strengths.  That belief gave me the strength to apply for new roles, grow my teams, and really accelerate my career trajectory.

Per Hour

A one hour session is ideal if you have a single situation you want to discuss and work through. We would get straight into the topic that you bring to the session and would dig as deep as the time allows, ensuring we manage the time as effectively as possible to give you as much benefit as possible.

X3 SESSIONS

Block booking 3 sessions gives us the chance to dig a little deeper into the topics you would like to bring to the coaching sessions. It allows you some time to go away and perhaps put in practice some areas we have discussed or to reflect on some outcomes with a view to wanting to consider different topics of conversations in your remaining sessions.
These sessions can be spread out over whatever period you desire, but I would suggest using them at least once a month for the best benefit. You can of course book as many sessions as you like and take advantage of the x3 block booking price.

Block booking 12 sessions gives us the chance to really discover more about the topics you would like to bring to the sessions. There is a chance for us to really recognise your power sources, or go back in time to find out some history to the topics you are bringing. We can work on some ‘What if….’ scenarios. The opportunities to discover more about yourself and recognise all you have achieved and your future potential will be endless.
These sessions can be spread out over whatever period you desire, but I would suggest using them at least once a month for the best benefit. You can of course book as many sessions as you like and take advantage of the x12 block booking price.

COACHING FOR TEAMS

Sometimes we need an external participant to come in and help us facilitate meetings with our teams, or support the growth of a new initiative. Ideally, this person is removed from the situation and avoid bringing any bias to conversation.

A coach can do this for you, we can work through different scenario’s with you and your team, we can ensure the conversation moves along in the right direction and keep people on track. Coach’s can act as both great facilitators and coaches in this situation, giving you an opportunity to see great value in different ways from these interactions.

This can be a single session or morph into something more regular. This can give your teams or individuals the chance to also be able to share their thoughts, concerns more openly to an external person. And of course all covered by confidentiality agreements in place.

These sessions can often last longer than an hour, and pricing for these can be discussed based upon the requirements of the session/s.
